As part of the Stromness Street Gallery for the Island Games, Móti Collective is holding an exhibition on the theme of ‘Games’ at Northlight Gallery.
The exhibition will feature work from nine members of the collective, each interpreting the theme in a unique way, including through painting, embroidery, photography, sculpture and playable games. The visual art will be accompanied by Island Soonds, an inventive and playful sound piece by Orcadian composer Brian Cromarty, commissioned by Orkney Islands Council. Members of the public will have the opportunity to contribute to the exhibition through playing the surrealist art game ‘The Exquisite Corpse’.
The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 5 pm daily from 14 to 27 July, with a preview on Sunday 13 July from 7 pm to 9 pm.
